Return and Refund Policy

Return Window

You have thirty calendar days from the date you physically receive your item to request a return. This thirty-day period includes weekends and holidays.

Example: If your package is delivered on June 1, your return request must be sent by June 30 at 11:59 PM Eastern Time.

Requests sent after the thirtieth day will be denied, and the item will need to be kept by you.

Eligibility Conditions

To be eligible for a return, an item must meet every single condition below:

  1. Unused condition. You have not worn, washed, altered, repaired, or used the item in any way. For footwear, this means no scuffs on the sole and no visible wear marks. For clothing, this means no pet hair, no deodorant marks, and no odors such as perfume or smoke.
  2. Original packaging. All original tags, boxes, poly bags, inserts, and accessories must be included and undamaged. If the original packaging is missing or torn, we cannot process a return.
  3. Quality issue. The item has a verified problem that existed before you received it. Quality issues include:
    • Manufacturer defects such as broken stitching, loose seams, faulty zippers, or detached soles
    • Damage that occurred during transit, such as crushed boxes, torn fabric, or cracked hard goods
    • Missing parts or components that were advertised as included
    • Stains, discoloration, or odors that were present upon opening the package

The following are not considered quality issues:

  • Normal wear and tear after you have used the item
  • Slight color variation between the product photo and the actual item (monitor settings vary)
  • Fit preference (too big, too small, too tight)
  • Change of mind (you decided you do not like the style or color)
  • Buyer‘s remorse after seeing a lower price elsewhere

Items That Cannot Be Returned

No return will be accepted for any of the following:

  • Items returned after thirty calendar days
  • Items that show signs of use, including tried-on footwear with scuffed soles
  • Items missing original tags or packaging
  • Items returned for a non-quality reason (fit, style, change of mind)
  • Final sale items, if clearly marked as “final sale” on the product page
  • Items that have been washed, dry cleaned, or altered

Return Shipping Cost

We provide free return shipping for approved quality-issue returns. After your return is approved, you will receive a prepaid return shipping label via email. You do not need to pay any postage or courier fee.

The return label will be valid for fourteen days. If you do not use the label within fourteen days, the approval expires, and you will need to request a new return authorization.

Restocking Fee

There is no restocking fee. You will receive a refund for the full product price you paid, minus any discounts that were applied to that item at checkout. We do not deduct any administrative or processing fee from refunds.

How to Request a Return – Step by Step

Step 1: Send an email to info@stevemaddenn.vip. Use the subject line “RETURN REQUEST – [your order number]”

Step 2: In the email body, include:

  • Your full name and the email address used for the order
  • The order number (found in your order confirmation email)
  • The name of the item you want to return
  • A clear description of the quality issue

Step 3: Attach at least two clear, well-lit photographs showing the quality issue. For defects, take a close-up photo. For transit damage, photograph the packaging as well.

Step 4: Our team will review your request within one business day. You will receive one of two responses:

  • Approval: You will receive a return authorization (RA) number and a prepaid return shipping label (PDF file).
  • Denial: You will receive an explanation of why the return was not approved.

Step 5: If approved, print the return label. Pack the item in its original packaging. Write your RA number clearly on the outside of the package.

Step 6: Attach the return label to the package. Drop off the package at the carrier location specified on the label (for example, a post office or a UPS drop-off point). Keep your drop-off receipt until your refund is complete.

Inspection Process

Once we receive your return package, we will inspect the item within one to two business days. During inspection, we will verify:

  • That the item matches the description in your return request
  • That the quality issue is visible and matches your photos
  • That the item has not been used or altered

If the inspection confirms the quality issue, your refund will be approved. If the inspection finds no quality issue, we will email you and offer to ship the item back to you at your cost, or dispose of it.

Refund Timeline

After your refund is approved, we issue the refund immediately. However, the time it takes for the money to appear in your account depends on your payment method and your bank or card issuer.

What Gets Refunded

You will receive a refund for:

  • The full product price you paid (including any taxes you paid)
  • The original shipping cost (since shipping was free, this is $0.00)

You will not receive a refund for:

  • Nothing – we refund 100% of the eligible item‘s price

How You Will Be Notified

You will receive email notifications at the following stages:

  • When your return request is approved or denied
  • When we have received your return package
  • When your refund has been issued (including the refund amount)

Late or Missing Refunds

If more than ten business days have passed since we issued the refund and you do not see the money in your account:

  1. First, contact your bank or credit card issuer. Banks often place holds on refunds, and the bank can see pending refunds even if you cannot.
  2. If your bank confirms no refund is pending, email us at info@stevemaddenn.vip. Include your return authorization number and a screenshot of your bank statement showing no credit.

Exchanges

We do not offer direct exchanges. If you need a different size, color, or style, you must:

  • Return the original item following the process above (if eligible)
  • Place a new order on our website for the replacement item

This ensures you receive the new item quickly without waiting for the return to be processed first.
